My, my aren't you pretty.

With its new roof and great looks, the 3-Series Convertible is the pick of the class - BMW has done a fine job of engineering a folding hard-top that doesn't compromise the shape and style of the body. Boot space has suffered, but excellent strengthening means the Convertible shares the impressive handling of the standard Coupé. Add in excellent refinement both roof up and down, and the 3-Series makes a fine choice.

I guess every magazine in the world that attended this event drove the same color car! My goodness. We've got another BMW that makes me think twice about BMW again!

Ain't that nice thing to hear from a true MB stalwart? ;):D

:t-cheers:

Well as you know prior to 2002, BMW was my 2nd choice and an extreme lust object, every one of them. It has taken some time to recover from the 02' 7-Series debacle/trauma.

I just came from BMW dealer, I went there with my friend to pick ap his car a new X3 (very nice) and I saw 4 new Cabriolets, they went on sell today. Small surprise about price, they go 15000$ (56 and 66 G - base) more then Coupé. They came in 12 colours (3 non metaic) and 6 colours of leather (I love Coral Red). :usa7uh: I was very imprest with 335i Space Grey with Coral Red interior. This combination I'm going to get next summer (first thought).:eusa_thin

Spotted a 335i in Miami last weekend. What a beauty...

Price is less beautiful, but hey - bitching about the price of a BMW is almost as pointless as complaining about the crowded conditions at a popular nightclub.

So right! I love the looks as well!
Right now, I am praying the M3 cabrio will have the same roof, but made of CF :eusa_pray :eusa_pray :eusa_pray

That would be hot if it did, but I think the expense might prohibit it. Never thought of that though, it would be brilliant. Lightweight, strong and lowering the center of gravity...really clever.

I've seen the new Convertible as well. I really like that the car is keeping the Coupeish shape when the roof is up

Is it just me (not the user lol) who misses canvas hoods? I think they look more 'expensive'... Have seen a couple of E93s at a main dealer - it does look good with the top down I have to say.

If you mean the "old fashioned" fabric? Yes I do. I like the folding hardtop, but only on a few select vehicles.

Look more "expensive" my eye. More like, they look like the old, and less desirable, way of doing things.

I was driving behind a black 335i coupe this morning and caught myself admiring its lines when... lo and behold, it wasn't a coupe at all - it was a cabrio!

Dressed in black, that cab is one amazing piece of car.
