Even if the Audi is a better car I would rather have the Merc, just because its alot better looking. The merc is a lot more interesting to look at than the somewhat boring Q7....

I don't mind that. The way the tailgate is shaped makes the cargo area more easily accesible, + it looks pretty cool. IMO.

well if you read the test it shows that it was close.. but i undertand their choice..like they said if you can live with the looks of the audi its the better car..
its more suited for familys its a larger car..
but the fact is i cant live with its looks so i chose the ML.. im sure Q7 besides the looks is as good if not better in some deparments..
afterall its german

The Q7 is a better made, more durable prospect. Probably drives better too. I'll be curious to know if a performance version is on the cards for sometime in the future. Though it would be very pointless.

How are you going to tell me what I do and don't know? LoL, I've sat in both cars for a long period of time. Time enough for me to make a solid decision on which one I like more. Yes, this discussion is pointless.

it sounded like you just thought generally audi had better quality so that means that the q7 also has it..
ive only sat in the ML it was pretty nice imo.. but i cant say much more cause i didnt sit in the q7.. so im gonna trust you for now..

The lights are integrated in the hatch which is much bigger than other SUVs and that gives you the impression of a big gap .The shunt lines of all Audis are among the smallest in the Auto industry.
