Ur not getting my point m-ch, ive never raced an m6 cp from 200km/h to 300km/h and now that my rs7 is tunned itll be pointless, what im trying to say and been trying to say is that with just an ecu tune ur getting 162 more to the crank and thats a crazy number, all it costs is 2k or 3k, without adding other mods like exhausts or air intake. I totally respect ur opninion about the comparison bettween both ur rs6 and ur m6 cp but they both are totally different, and i bet u if u race both the rs7 and rs6 to 300 km/h the rs7 will win it due to better aerodynamics, and dont forget that the rs6 loses more power to the wheels then the m6 because of the power delivery to all 4 wheels. Rwd cars are normally faster then awd cars on long runs. Pp-performance has done a good job to the new m6 but whatever apr did to the rs7 is magic. Heres a vid of the m6 with pp-performance stage 2 vs the old rs6 and the rs7 stage 2 vs the 997.2 turbo stage 2. Like that u can compare times.
I think i do get your Point. You Said the rs6/7 engin has more potential to tune. I speak about stock vs stock..
Concerning tunning how can you know about the potential of the m5/6 if till today no tuner has cracked the ecu. All tuners on m5/6 works with biggy pack( blackbox) witch simulates the ecu Running on lower boost, so in fact ecu is making more bost. Not Even topseed limiter is completly open, every body is Struggling with 327kmh (gearbox limiter).
So i think to see the real tuning potential of the m5/6 we still have to wait a Little bit.
A do agree with you allwheel drive isnt the best for highspeed, but maybe were you live you just dont care about highspeed as Highways ar limited. Luckley not in Germany.
By the way that Pp M6 cabrio on your vids is slower than Stock according to the times, so maybee not the best example
In the end of the day videos are just videos, the best prof of performance are for my part vbox hihgway runs, there you see what the engine pur power is able to deliver.
Enjoy your rs7 in good health
