Comparison tests AutoBild Sportscars - New 911 Turbo S vs R8 V10 Plus vs BMW M6 CP vs Nissan GT-R

@Tumbo…you gave me the 'old' rating because of the wrong reason I think, lol. I think the R8 is very much a sportscar (or even super car if you want), I was trying to say that the M6 is the odd one out here being a full fledged luxury GT. The other all compare…

edit; Not to mention the others being AWD….

I reckon that m6 must be remapped... On the GTboard videos the m6 doesn't perform like these performance figures suggest at all

^i know this.. i saw that..they dynoed the M5 on that test to..

No one said they cheating.. interesting would be if there is a difference in a customer car vs a car provided to testing..

My friend dynoed his new m5, I can't remember what it made but it must have been around the figure as advertised as otherwise I would have remembered it and there would have been a big discussion about it.

I think all press cars are more powerful than the normal versions, especially as it's so easily done with a turbo engine

Weird, old R8 V10 with less power and single clutch gearbox did better times than that R8 Plus.
Yes, according to their times the old one was 1,1 sec slower up to 250 km/h, but between 250-300 it was noticeably faster. Probably aerodynamics...

Does he have the optional competition pack?

Clearly press car power outputs are sometimes "massaged". I'm sure all manufacturers do it. Therefore these comparisons are utterly useless.

^I am seriously questioning whether 6.8s (100-200km/h) is remotely possible on an official 575hp considering the weight of the M6, this is on par with a new 911 Turbo S.

In their latest issue, AutoBild Sportscars posted the measured power-figure of the M6 Competition: 631 hp, 1 horsepower less than the "normal" M6 they've tested previously... :)
