I hope you are just disappointed that they didn't actually test their respective performances on the day to see which is quickest because frankly I could never be disappointed owning anything that's capable of posting a 0-200km/h like these cars can.

In this article they were speaking about the performance package coming this summer for the M5. More power, better brakes, different suspension and different exhaust.

A real test to me, is you have all cars there on the same day, drive them the same day and time, and measure your performance. THAT is a real test. This is just wack.

So very very sad. The 5er Touring is the best looking BMW Touring ever, and we don't get an M5

It's because they sold less than 2000 E61 M5, and the the modifications compared to the sedan version were extensive and expensive...it uses a whole different special made rear suspension for example.
