My choice? Just because of a RWD - BMW. Loving Audi and Golf, no doubt, but RWD is my choice. Just make it in LeMans blue and M package.:D Opel? No, thanks. Never!

:t-cheers:

Last time I looked, the Golf GT is a 1.4 litre twincharger unit.

My vote goes straight to the 120i! Great engine, RWD and impressive fuel consumption!

:t-cheers:

This is hard for me. I like all of these cars, even the Opel Astra is hot. :eusa_clap

Guess I'll go for the Audi A3, then the BMW, then the Opel and lastly the VW. :t-cheers:

I would say the Astra. It accelerates faster, it's the best looking and being an Opel it might very well be the cheapest as well.

However, the braking performance is somewhat... should I say worrying?

You should... When a Suzuki Swift can stop from 100 km/h in 38,4 metres (with warm brakes), then I think an Astra should be, too...:t-crazy2:

I would choose the Audi A3 TFSI! I think it's a great balanced car and in this comparision and engines, I like it most!

A3 1.
GT 2.
120i 3.
T 4.

The A3 is Audi quality ...
The GT engine is a very qute little heart.. Love it. also the suspension is great.
BMW... hmm.. I must be quite fun to drive a small car with RDW.
Opel... :D hahah.. Opel..

It's between the A3 and the Golf for me. And I also like the Astra as well. But, I just love the A3, cause it's more exclusive then the others in this fight. So my vote = A3.

I own a babybimmer. We are four adults in one car driving a 40 minutes trip to work and back home from work.
For such a little car its incredible that 4 adults fit in my car and they sit good too, no-one is touching the roof with their heads and they can place their feet under the seats so they dont have a problem sitting in the backseat. But 4 people is enough, 5 wont work very good.

The steering feel is is very very good and handling is amazing. I dont regret my purchase and I still feel the 1er to be the best drive in its class. This car suit my personality very well, it's sporty little hatchback and I still adore the 1er

Stop and go function is a nice idea and works well so far. I read that Stop and go function is coming to VW as well.
I still find it amusing to push the startbutton :D
The car gets attention from others , which I dont really like.

Well at least the Astra has a 5-star safety rating so you should be OK in a crash, but still 40 metres to brake from 100 Km/h to 0... oh dear, oh deary me... not good, not good at all.

Α3 for me. Golf and 1 series tie in the second place. Astra is a distant fourth.
