Considering its around the same size as a BMW 5 series and over 50k-110k cheaper... It does have good value for money.
Obviously in no way shape or form is the design, engineering or dynamics on par with the German breed, but it isn't exactly lacking :D

Here are some pictures for the ford australia website and considering design is in its last year i think its looks fabulous....

I hope you like it as it is a fine example of Australian engineering and the car I drive around until I'm in a position to buy a BMW :t-cheers:

I currently drive a BF2 Fairmont Ghai... It is a compnay car provided to me buy QLD health... I love it... fun to drive and interior is good quality

It's no 5 series but thats 5-10 years away for me still... And im happy to wait out that time in a Ford Falcon :D

^ Don't I look like a fool saying that now!!!

Just for your information guys, new ford falcon should be released within a couple of months/weeks? Not sure on the time frame. Are you interested in me finding some information on the car and spypics and making an information thread on the new falcon?

It should be a good looking and overall very good car. It has to be or Ford in Australia are doomed IMO

Early March launch and sales should follow within a month or 2.

Got a question, at that time, why did you think it will take you 5-10 years to purchase a 5-series?

Because I was fortunate enough to recieve a fellowship in advanced cranial surgery which means that all my student loans and residency fees were whipped clean by the Australian government. I wasn't expecting it at all. Also I took on a significent pay rise when I increased my private practise work load. Back then I saw one maybe two private cases. Now i say between 10 and 15. I'm thinking of returning to the Public sysem however as I miss the truama/emergency cases that you don't get in private practise. Nothing compares to the adreline rush of an emergency sugery!!!
