Important appeal to all brave Aussie members!

Congrats mate :t-cheers: I don't know if there is an "addict" rating in the forum, maybe they should.

:D:D:D

I'm not on as much anymore but I'm still keeping up with the news. Had to come on and post tonite when I read about the FEP shots of the new 7er in Melbourne!

I feel much abliged to join my my fellow neurosurgeons and get a new 7er as my next car. If it looks as good as I think it will then maybe we're in business...

Need something to make the ride home comfortable and especially if it has seat massagers. Nothing like a massage and a comfortable ride home after a long day. Nothing wrong with that right ? :D

Don't think it's possible to shoot the bolte bridge unless you're on a helicopter or have a lens the size of a room shooting from a building a couple km's away...

Do you really think they will close both sides of the bridge? ;):usa7uh:

I think not ... since they don't need sound records (sound is added during editing).

Just check by local authorities when the bridge will be closed. :D

The trains can still go pass the bridge right, or will they block that as well. I travelled across the bridge today on the train, we get a decent view, but the images are slightly distorted by the train windows.

Trains? On the Bolte Bridge? Don't think so mate, perhaps sydney harbour :)

Ahh, clever :) I presumed they would close both as it wouldn't be desirable to have other cars in the background of a shoot, I would've thought? I'll try to give citylink a call tomorrow, but the bridge is on a tollway and it'd be a good $20 trip worth of tolls and fuel...

Good to see that BMW has acknowledge Australia as a loyal and growing market and as such has decided to encorporate the country into it's global media empire. It is a quite, behind the door acknowledgement that Australia is regarded as a good market for BMW vehicles. Should be very benefitial in increasing the image of the vehicles in the Australian public if they see images of the vehicles with Australian backdrops etc...

I am afraid it is really nothing to do with this and is all about architecture and structural beauty that reflects the designs and inspiration of our products.

We have exclusive permission (My superiors are very persuavise) to close the bridge both here in Melbourne and one lane on the Sydney Harbour Bridge. We are shooting at night in Melbourne also .

Not Black ... Sophisto Grey.;)

I guess I now say Gday....:)

so the design for 7er is now final. No more exterior changes will be done?

Ok so again, without a helicopter or a telescopic lens it'll be impossible to shoot it on the Bolte Bridge....

so get crackin you new south welshman!

Night time on the Sydney Harbour Bridge as well?

Oks, well I'm back in Sydney now after my holiday in California.... can either Eni or Scott give more details as to when the shoot/s in Sydney will take place?

Try financial district downtown, Sydney opera area, bigger Sydney bridges, any other architecture significant (modern architecture!) in Sydney.

:t-cheers:

Thanks Eni for the tips... do you have any idea about the timeframe for the 7er's visit to Sydney? ... will it be this week, or maybe next week?
