Aurus Motors (Russian: Аурус Моторс) is a Russian luxury car company founded in 2018, originally strictly as a Russian motorcade vehicle brand until 2021 when the company's first civilian model, the Aurus Senat, began production.

Dictator and invasion aside, why would anyone outside Russia would ever want to buy one of these cars, and even more, at those ludicrous prices?
Russia is a thirld world country with fourth world country manufacturing abilities and quality, that has the good luck to be close to continental Europe.

Every single russian thing I’ve own or experienced had abysmal quality and finish/design….

When the launched at Geneva 2019. I did manage to try out the car’s. The show cars were actually well-built using quality materials and leather. There was nothing that could relatively fault them even though in initial concept they were imitations of Rolls-Royce and Bentley.

They were building their dealer network but I expect this has fallen by the wayside now. They were keen to globalise it for different luxury markets. The Komendant looks inoffensive if not for it’s offensive designation. For those in Russia that can’t get their luxury SUV or not willing to pay money on the black market for todays luxury models? Will probably find themselves with this.

They will also be selling them in Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and other countries in the Russia orbit.

I've sat in one, it's not bad at all, the vehicel was engineered by Porsche so I would expect it to be badly built.
 
Who makes the engine, transmission, and other major components for this car? It looks like GLS met a K900. I don’t see much Rolls outside the front end.

That's a buddy-cop movie I did not know I'd want to see: Pooty and Kim Go To A Missile Launch!


I can see the tagline for the movie poster already: "One's a hopeless romantic who just wants to be loved (by force), and the other is a not-so-by-the-books who's always on the edge (of a window that he'll push you out of.) Let the hijinks begin!"
