Over the years, you've criticized Mercedes for things like: the lack of a gear knob, screens without visors, fully digital driver and passenger displays, and others. BMW eventually adopted all of these features. Now they don't even have an iDrive button. Looking at the current situation, you should be open to criticism. I've criticized many things Mercedes has done. I've never seen you criticize BMW in any way.

You acted like you didn't like the facelifted S-Class at first, then when the facelifted 7 Series was introduced, you kept posting about how amazing the S-Class is.

Didn't you criticize BMW countless times on Donanım Haber Forum for offering both electric and internal combustion engine versions in the same car, and defend that EQ series was the right approach? Don't you criticize every new BMW model that's launched, then share Mercedes photos and talk about how beautiful they are?

I mean really, according to who? Fully subjective. Some people just prefer the non-flashy, somewhat “boring” designs. It all comes down to their taste.
Plus, while that 7er was the most plain looking, it also had the best build quality, so… Pointless argument.

Cadillac is making gorgeous upholstered and nearly bezel-free interiors (albeit, slightly busy looking) but high quality nonetheless, under 100k pricepoint

You can very quickly find the cost cutting in a Cadillac interior as soon as you enter the rear of the car. Hard plastics everywhere the eye can see.

Perhaps you may be right. I have not been in the rear.

At least in the front row, the Optiq (Q4 competitor) and Vistiq (EQE/iX competitor) felt extremely high quality for the respective segments.

Optiq had "alternative" materials as opposed to hard touch plastic in the Q4, and more soft touch surfaces as well. Vistiq has plentiful leather and metal and wood finishes. And the bezelless screen is gorgeous.

I dont understand merc and bmw passanger screen that face more upward than towards the passanger like in audi and Porsche..very uncomfortable to use since you have to lean when use it

To some extend sure, but it first and foremost is supposed to be a luxury vehicle. It's not solely aimed at soccermoms with a rich sugardaddy.

Maybe it’s just me but everything below A8, S and 7 are premium not luxury. Even the X7 to me feels more like an X5 than 7 and the GLS doesn’t step up quality over the GLE.

I'm not too familiar with Benz options but I would say it depends on how the car is equipped.

The outgoing C8 A6 with Bang&Olufsen advanced, Extended leather dash with the nicer massage seats, soft close doors, etc was a VERY nice sedan. IIRC, the G30 5er had similar options available too that were lost with the G60.
