And yet, it could be a feasible indication of where Audi will be going regarding the exterior design of their future sedans/Sportbacks/Avants.

It looks approachable but still humble; in my opinion, the new design will be more radical and sexy, more in line with the C concept.

I thought A4 is A5? So is the Avant a Sportback? Or is the Sportback an Avant? Is it going to be an Audi? Or an AUDI? 😆

IMHO, the rendering presents an automobile that presents a sort of "Volvo/Polestar Meets Bauhaus Minimalism" that I find very attractive. And has been sadly missing in more recent Audi vehicles. Of course...nothing more than a rendering.

Another take on a future A4 etron featuring "Radical Next" design elements:

The sheer cleanliness of these sorts of designs ensure a high degree of "timelessness".

I think that the NKL BMW's will be pursuing something similar, although different.
This front is so awful that I pray to all the gods that it never gets past the concept stage.

Ye gods. Hopefully they have a more progressive outlook on the core models to differ from the sports models.

These illustrators are too limited mentally to understand how the new philosophy of the C concept will be translated to the sedans and other models of the brand; they just slap on the front and rear poorly and don't have the brainpower to understand the rest and the whole.

They fail to grasp that some of the most beautiful Audis we've ever seen are coming, which is understandable because they lack creativity and talent; they just draw by killing the original idea, resorting to the old mixed with the new, like AI does.

Do you think that the next generation of Audis will be also more beautiful than the De Silva Audis in the 2000s? I'm curious about it because I had an Audi A4 in the late 2008 and it was one of the most beautiful Audi I have seen after the schreyer's A4 and also schreyer's TT......as for de Silva Audis i appreciate the Nuvolari concept car

I don't know if they'll be more beautiful, since I consider Da Silva's designs wonderful, but I do believe that we'll experience the same kind of "moment," where Audi will once again be on everyone's lips for positive things in terms of design, setting trends again like when Da Silva launched them to stardom.

I understand, I had the 2009 A6 C6 and just seeing its front end made me smile every time, an instant classic.

Someone asked for proof that this is the case, even though it's obvious and common sense. I mentioned it at the time, and it's supported by studies and those who really know, besides (again), obviousness and common sense.

Audi Says Looks Still Matter Most To Buyers

"
Changing how cars look could significantly impact demand, as the company claims design remains the brand's biggest sales driver."

Design sells....Design+reliability sells even more...Design+reliability+cheap price sells the best
So where-ever you look..design is in every segment important

A2 e-tron

Audi will unveil the new A2 e-tron in fall 2026, complementing its portfolio with an all-electric entry-level model family in the compact class. The A2 e-tron, manufactured in Ingolstadt, will further rejuvenate Audi’s model range and open up access to premium electric mobility.

Limousines are a niche, people want SUVs.

The Continental GT also works surprisingly well.

Over 2k Revueltos, that’s spectacular.

ID.3 Neo/ Born offspring?
It looks longer though. Hopefully this leads to a larger battery.

It's brilliantly deceptive how Audi presents this. It's the brand but it presents itself as a "group," which is false, and it doesn't break down its own figures!! (because they must be awful). Instead, it lumps together these three super-premium, high-margin brands as if they were "its own," even though they belong to the VW Group and are only grouped under this structure on paper, due to internal divisions within the group.

Somewhere, Audi's real figures must be out there; I'll find them eventually....

BMW also discloses the group's total assets. Bentley and Lamborghini operate under the Audi umbrella. The table shows the revenue figures for these brands. You don't need to search. approximately 1 billion euros.

... and it doesn't break down its own figures!! (because they must be awful).

Not stellar. But not awful.

Case in point: in the first 12 months following the opening of order files, an estimated 25,000 Audi A6 etrons (about 70% of which Avants) were ordered in Europe. An expanded selection of versions supported a relatively rapid "ramp-up" in which the A6 etron began matching, and progressively frequently exceeding, BMW i5 (the formidable competitor, the M-B EQE sedan a non-event) numbers. Of course, as the i5 has been open to orders a bit longer as well as having more versions to chose from, the A6 etron immediately encountered and yet relatively successfully embraced a "catch-up game". Hence, Audi is not doing quite as badly as many have been lead to believe. Considering the economic environment in much of Europe and especially the A6 etron's German home market, Audi is abiding. But yes, significant improvement is the utmost imperative. Much of this Audi AG's major task at hand. Much of this a matter of policy and regulation here in Europe.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
