I wonder if the S 63 AMG 4-Matic W222 will be faster. BMW 7 Series is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
far behind in performance.

The M5

0-40 kph in 1.4 s.
0-80 kph in 3.1 s.
0-100 kph in 3.9 s.
0-200 kph in 11.7 s.
1/4 mile 11.9 s - 122 mph.

The S8

0-40 kph in 1.3 s.
0-80 kph in 2.8 s.
0-100 kph in 3.8 s.
0-200 kph in 13.1 s.
1/4 mile 11.8 s - 118.3 mph.

So basically these two are inseparable up to about 115mph, that's crazing when you think about it.

I'm talking about those S8 times: that 3,8 s and 13,1 s where done by different testcars and with different testing methodes.

The S8 D4 (Autozeitung test) did hits 0-100 km/h in 3.9 s and 0-200 km/h in 12.8 s. Faster than the RS6 Sedan C6.

I have one. It's an insane vehicle. I was lucky enough to get one of the first delivered in the US since a buyer backed out in December 2013. Just hit 20,000 miles. I've never owned such an insane vehicle in so many aspects. Its astonishing how quick, quiet, and comfortable it can be all at once. Exclusive enough to not see multiple ones a day (Los Angeles), but recognized enough to get a nod here and there. I've thoroughly enjoyed this car.
 
Regular A8 is "meh" at the front but S8 looks really good.. but imagine how would it look with the "proper" engine mount (not in front of the axle but over it) wihtout that ridiculous front overhang.
I was bored... so I made a quick edit.. therefore you don't have to imagine it anymore ;)
