Anybody can submit data to fastestlaps. You said there's lots on info how and when this time was achieved. So do tell us when it was done, who confirmed the time, what were the exact specs of the car, etc.

I know the story behind that time. The info comes from Erik who have the site rs6.com. He claim he was at the ring and talked to Audis testdriver directly after lap with the Rs4 and he told Erik he did it under 8 min. However , it was never verified by Audi or stated as an official time. So noone really knows.
But who really care, everyone know Sportauto is the one and only source ;)

These have finally arrived in the U.S. Very good looking car, very good looking. I almost wanted to drive it, but I think I'm over this overall design. I just wish it hadn't taken so long for this car to arrive here.

It is nice, but I too find myself over the overall A5 design. I'm telling you, it's partly in the wavy line. IMO, straight and crisp forms usually age better, and the wavy form of the A5 has just made it kind of dull to me over time.
 
Myself, I will never get tired of this design. It's just timeless! One of the most beautiful coupes ever, imo.

My next cars that i plan to buy end of this or beginning of next year are 850 CSi and 635 CSi...:love:
 
The most perfect looking car Audi has ever designed. I saw the very same one with the chrome in the bumpers last week in Split, Croatia. It looked magnificent.
