New Audi RS5 Cabriolet to be Unveiled on September 6, Watch the Live Stream

On Monday morning, Audi came out with a Spartan press release announcing that it will debut the new RS5 Convertible online via live streaming this Thursday, September 6, before the high-performance convertible model makes its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show later this month.
We have added the streaming service at the end of the post, so all you have to do is bookmark this page and come back on September 6 at 1pm UK BST / 2pm Germany CEST / 9am U.S. EST U.S. / 6am U.S. PST, to watch the reveal.
The new open-top model will share the same 4.2-liter V8 that generates 444hp (450PS / 331kW) as the RS5 Coupe.
The naturally-aspirated engine will be matched to a seven-speed S tronic dual clutch transmission with a launch control program transferring power to all four wheels via Audi's quattro system.
Other performance upgrades will include a tauter suspension, more powerful brakes and a revised steering system, while the RS5 package will be complemented by a wider body featuring bespoke aero parts, larger rims and sportier interior trim.

Im not as excited. Why? Cause we wont see any surprises. We already know it will have the RS5 bumpers, we already know how a S5 Cab look like, and we already know what engine it will have. So, Audi, just show us the damn car already.

Yes, I hope that Audi is doing their homework. They improved a lot with the RS4 B7 and RS6 C6, but the RS3 was soooo late!

Yes, mee to. Audi has a lot of things going on now.. S3, RS5 Cab, RS6, RS7...
Wonder if they gonna drop the RS6 and RS7 at the same time as they did with S6 and S7. But I dont think so, since RS is unique.
