Quattro/S2 Audi Quattro Concept set for production

This is just a fashion item, which is the reason why so many people are hot on it just like some were on the Cadillac Sixteen. Let's just hope for the prospective buyers that the car doesn't look out of fashion once they take delivery in two years.

Say what... €150K??? No thanks, they can keep it.

Well I would just wait and see what actually happen with this car and it's price. After all quite a few magazines have bent the ear of Audi executives and the price has ranged from €90k up to this the highest at €150k.

The only thing I think we know for sure is that it will indeed be built and that it will accelerate to sixty in three something seconds and will probably handle pretty tasty too.

Its a beautiful car...surely hope they get it to the showroom. I don't think price, unless its really outrageous, will be an issue.

It'd be glorious if they find a way to keep the price down. If Alfa is aiming for 45-50K Euros for their 4C, it is doable at least in theory to price this thing waaay below what was previously rumored (over 100K, if I remember correctly).

Will this be a limited-run production, or will they make as many as are demanded/ordered ?

What an impressive car this will be. Pure performance, and looks to kill!! When you have the resources of VAG at your disposal, it becomes feasible to green-light such special projects.

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
