The BMW has the vision, the Audi simply follows.

Both look good, but the BMW looks far more special imo. Inside out, btw.

BMW exterior and interior both futuristic, dynamic and luxuries at same time and has good vision. Audi not much of a change in exterior, a more elegant solution to the current styling theme but interior in some aspects mixes retro and future technology which looks great also

Audi's interior looks great (some parts BMW has better), but exterior looks much much better. And I've seen the new design language for future models by Audi.

Picture this car's appearance also as a Coupe. One has been conceived.
The car is currently on its feedback tour in South Korea where 300 potential customers were invited to view the car.
We are getting close...

Now imagine the proportions shrunk to accommodate the outline of a Coupe.

Just want to know which other countries are included in the feedback tour?

Feedback tour? And you say we're getting close? Lol. Yeah right. BMW has been stuffing around at this end for almost a decade now with nothing to show for it.

I agree, what are we getting close to, the design for the new 7 series is set and done a long time ago, what are we getting close to with this concept?

The BMW certainly for me but I know it will never see the light of day.
I trust Audi to bring theirs to market before BMW(when they are done with building the X10)

Which one is better ? Difficult, as both are excellent examples of automotive design. The BMW is arguably more "dramatic" in terms of flank sculpturing. More adventuresome. The Audi is arguably more "pragmatic" in its' approach and appears to look elegant, athletic and fresh while not abandoning certain dogmas inherent to the brands design paradigm.

I imagine that many elements that appear on the Prologue will actually make it "one-to-one" on future larger Audis. That is what Marc Lichte stated. But whether we will actually see a large 2 door coupe from Audi remains questionable. It will be interesting to see just how much of the VFL is actually transported to the G11/12 BMW 7-series.

Similar to Audi's Prologue Concept the BMW's Vision Future Luxury previews the upcoming styling of the "upper-end" core-series models of each brand. It's not necessary the cars will be ever greenlighted (Prologue as A9, and VFL as 9er) but we will certainly see most of the design elements of each design study to make it into other upcoming core-series models.

So, we can expect the next A8, A7 (there is a rumor Audi plans to offer 2dr Coupe & 2dr Cabrio versions as well, beside the 5dr Sportback version), A6 and to some extent A4/A5 will feature styling elements from the Prologue.

And same can be said for VFL - most of the elements will be used on the upcoming BMW core models, yet not all at once. Just like CS Concept showcased the styling of then upcoming BMW models, the VFL has the same role now.

OK, the Prologue looks more production ready and it can be pasted to a certain model as a whole (eg. in production version of A9), while in the VFL case the study is a collection of individual styling elements that will be used in production versions of different BMW models (eg. the big grille, the headlight & rear light design, the side-profile sculpturing, the front & rear "air curtains" & "air breathers", bumpers, exhaust tips etc etc). So, some elements from VFL will be seen on X7, some on 7er, some on 5er, and some on 6er. Same can be said for the interior.

Just want to know which other countries are included in the feedback tour?

China,Japan,Russia,UAE,South Korea,Singapore,Australia,Europe,USA and the UK are place where the car has been or will be going to.
Especially now that the S-Maybach is launched BMW has a direct proposal to compare now.

The CS also went on a feedback tour and was green lighted until the economic crisis happened.
BMWs upper management are keen on an exclusive car to rival the Maybach as Rolls-Royce won't descend down market.
The Ghost is as low as it goes.
If there is anything the feedback tour has proved is that there are customers looking for a more exclusive BMW.

Comparing Vision Future Luxury with the all new 7er there are many areas where the cars are distinguished in both the interior and exterior and especially now that Maybach has been launched BMW are keen to exploit its main weakness that it is just an extended S-Klasse and use the VFL 9er as the sporting , limousine. Dynamic in design and character where the owner could drive the car theirselves or ride in luxury within the rear. If the owner of the Maybach did this they would be mistaken for a chauffeur.

The VFL also shows the i8 influenced Carbon passenger cell which also shows the construction applied to the next Rolls-Royce Phantom which will show serious weight reduction. This could also be used on the 9er in which that car would be exclusively built and finished. BMW individual has plans to provide a completely bespoke service and the 9er could be that first car.

The Maybach has been underwhelming because, as you say, is just a long S-Class. But the VCF is exclusive now. What happens when BMW pastes that same front end to the 7er (maybe less concept like, with smaller grille but very similar overall)?

BMW is not currently known by differentiating their designs too much from each other.

If 9er is green lighted (that's a big IF), I expect 7er and 9er to share similar front end, but it will still be different enough than an elongated 7er, with identical front end ala Merc-Maybach S-class.
