Audi Nuvolari

The first photos were so good, but then that side view ruined it for me, and then these angles are not much better either.

I hope we will see some good videos soon, until then not sold on it. Price and specs are good though, interior is fantastic.

The design is striking but clearly very Lamborghini. I'm just glad it's an exotic body style versus another bloated overweight SUV or crossover. Some very exciting stuff coming out of Ingolstadt and Stuttgart.

Jeeeesh

Looks worse with every pic. That side view is a straight up disaster, it almost looks like they fused two completely different cars together.
That side intake with the big slab of sheetmetal over it ruins the whole design. Completely deletes the hips.

Terrible design. Who the f#ck is going to buy this over a Temerario?!?

I didn't like it much. I don't see any design coherence. The back resembles the Gallardo. Still, I appreciate it for being a bold car. I hope BMW will show the same boldness...

BMW is in a completely different position and doesn't have a donor car like that. The R&D will never be recouped

But why am I even saying this, you were clearly taking a stab at BMW because your complex pea brain can't go without naming them in every post you make.

It's like the aston martin valor. It's questionable as to whether it's visually more attractive than the base model.

And what would be the base model? The TT?

There is no base model, this is it.
99.9% will never know it's just a Lambo (which wouldn't constitute to a base model either).

I saw the first batch of photos on my phone. I was too keen. At first blush it looked to be an exciting thing for Audi. The second take has me less enthusiastic.

Temerario. However I consider reskinned cars a net positive.

They bring to makter designs that are off brand or don't conform to the current design language.

It’s a reskinned Temerario. They are about to do the same with the new 718 EV.

Temerario.

The base model has to be the same car from the same brand. The Temerario very clearly is not the base model of this, it's only technically based off the Temerario, which means something completely else.

But at least the TT was originally intended to be based off the upcoming Porsche from the get-go, whereas this Nuvolari seems like a bandage on the wound as said by yourself in other words (I agree) and seems to be an afterthought.....

As in make a TT-esque Audi off of the 718 EV platform? That would be even more damaging to the already limited appeal of the EV Coxsters. Insane.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
