yes it is. Im not judging by photos. In real life S5 looks better to me. More presence in my book. I cant judg on base design only, its the total package for me.

I'm torn. Having seen both in the flesh, my intial reaction was that the Audi has the better rear-end, whilst the the 3er has the more appealing front end. Wasn't fond of the grill detailing on the S5 to be down right honest. Although, I would agree with those who have said the S5 looks heaps better than the A5.

Ok, let me answer your question.. The CLK has a sort of sex appeal with the sport-package. There are quit a few CLK running around in my area. The design is a little too cute though ( as Klier pointed out on the previous SL, I happen to agree) both has almost the same face.. but I think its better looking than the A5/S5? no.. I think the A5 has more beautiful lines as a total package. The CLK is quit feminine looking which is why I think its more sexy.

Diesel or petrol, S line vs. M Package, the A5 comes NOWHERE CLOSE to E92, period! Oh and the fact that Audi needs a V8 with 4.2L to compete with TT I6 is also a good fact to mention. Interior? That's a different story and there Audi wins; but i'm not buying my car because of it's interior.

You guys don't seem to get my point here.
Screw the bumpers, the engines, the wheels, the grilles.... I want to hear about the DESIGN of the car itself. That's what's important here, and that where I see the E92 being no competition for the absolutely amazing A5/S5 and I now understand why Wlater Da Silva said it's the most beautiful car he has ever designed.

There is a 3.0 TDI A5 here in my town and it is absolutely amazing car. I love how it is designed, it has that provocative, modern and very attractive design. Every time this car passes by me I want the guy to stop so I can admire the car. It's true, LEDs look amazing also! Not to start about perfect interior..
On the other side, I see E92 Coupe more subtle designed, not so much attractive though it has that something that also makes it cool..
So, regarding the design I would take A5 over 3er Coupe, that for sure...But the 335s' twin turbo over the A5s' 3.O that also for sure.
It would take me some time to decide if I had to choose which one to buy..
