No, that was unfair, but BMW is by far the most popular brand to bash here on GCF. They are in very many respects the benchmark and therefor they take a lot of hits as soon as someone manages to top them in any way. The most obvious instances are when a BMW loses comparisions - there is no end of the malicious posting.

I think the days of Car Manufacturers using that type os sales pitch are over..Its all about the Quality of the Product, your after sales service and finally PURE Value for money, Which Merc and BMW Just dont have at the Moment..There prices are just way out...

Today Audi is Catching up big time with the other Big 2 in terms of sales, Does that mean its core values are missplaced? while merc and bmw Sales plummet, But, Its ok cause there Values are more superior? That is not going 2 bail them out of a tricky financial crisis....
