Best looking car of the 21st century?
Not sure if THE BEST, but right up there with the early 2000’s Vanquish & DB9, as well as the 296 GTB and the Alfa 8C in terms of looks. (As far as 21st century cars are concerned)

"This is the only engine option; there won't be a V-12-powered DB12. Instead, the V-12 will power a successor to the DBS 770 Ultimate, a fast and brawny front-engine coupe that will be badged … Vanquish."🙂

a V12 RWD in this days it pretty much stupid....Too much power to take it down

Not really? How much more power are the Ferrari front engined V12 family putting down? - If you give them four wheel drive then weight jumps up affecting a million and one things including fuel consumption and emissions from memory.

The American Muscle cars I know some about, the Fords putting out huge numbers. And the 2009 Aston Martin flagship the One-77 I don't recall anyone saying it was too much power!

Electronics traction and launch control systems and tyre technologies move on. Same with four wheel steer systems- not fitted here- make a huge dynamic difference.

I don't feel that's the case Porsche and Mercedes have rear/front engined cars with well over 700hp putting laptimes down.

Aston Martin is involved in multiple forms of Motorsport they should be OK.🙂

Can you name 1 or 2 RWD V12 that does a better job than AWD V8 ? 0-100 I mean...

It's obviously still a fantastic design per se in every possible metric, but despite all the hardware upgrades and the new interior it just doesn't look like an all-new model deserving of an all-new name

Perhaps the company couldn't afford more than reheating the DB11 because of the rear mid-engine models that are in the pipeline, but I'm afraid this might be the front mid-engine model's swan song. If it is, hopefully the lower-end Vantage at least has a long-lasting future ahead of it.

Aston Generally evolve over time. The DB12's job was never revolutionary, that's obvious. Nobody will be disappointed I think. There are quantum leap's coming but after what I read this week everyone might have to rethink their mid term to long term strategies.

I don't know if it seems to me, but it's less fuzzy than before, like they cleaned it up a bit

I'm taking the DB11 re: exterior (the DB12 is bold and more exciting but less lean and graceful). Interior, I'm taking the DB12 but I wish it felt more "Aston".
