I agree. The design is certainly superb. I'm very fond of the size as will, Cayman-ish but more phat. We need more of these small and compacts sports cars on the market.

Very cute; looks a bit like a Lotus Europa S.

The V6 allows it not to be expensive, and not too heavy, I have no problem with that.

Revival of the little, light mid-engine sportcars is really a good thing!

Artega back in business as company is heading to Frankfurt Motor Show

The official website of the Frankfurt Motor Show (IAA) has listed Artega as one of the exhibitors.

Originally discovered by Autovisie, the news about Artega's revival comes as a nice surprise after the German sportscar maker stopped production back in October 2012 after being acquired by Paragon AG. Interestingly, the IAA website lists the company with a new name "Artega GmbH & Co. KG" but doesn't specify the identity of the vehicles set to be exhibited.

Chances are they will bring the Henrik Fisker-designed Artega GT with a V6 3.6-liter engine pushing out 300 PS (220 kW) sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed DSG. It weighs 1,285 kg (2,832 lbs) and needs less than 4.8 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) before hitting a maximum speed of 168 mph (270 km/h).

We checked out their website and stumbled upon three used Artega GTs available in Viper Green (€57,500), Macadamia Metallic (€65,000) and Flame Red (€68,000). More information about the cars can be accessed at the third source link below.
