I've been looking at the W205 C63, but right now dealers are giving $15,000 off GT-R's in my area. Does anyone have any experience with GT-R's as a Daily Driver?

I'd be very careful with GTR's, a 2nd hand is a big no-no.

is the 15k off due to the drop in yen? People used to complain that the gtr is getting too expensive nowadays so if the price have cone down to a reasonable level then I think the gtr is a better buy as it is a supercar that is easy on the wallet

I think Hot Ice is looking at a brand new GT-R. I drove a 2014 model about 10 months ago and it felt amazing.

Honestly, I think it's because the car got so expensive, that people just stopped buying them. The Black series starts at $111,000. That's easily Porsche money. The top end GT-R is $130,000. That's Hurcan Money!

I've been waiting on the W205 C63, but I won't have word until March, and they're not willing to go below MSRP. Paying MSRP is not something I'm going to do for a depreciating asset.

The most impression aspect is the sensation of the acceleration above 100km/h. It just went like stink!! I didn't have much opportunity to find out how much grip it had (the car belonged to my friend and the tyres were quite new, I also didn't try the launch control), but its handling was very impressive and it felt sooooo planted to the road. The only possible negative that came to my mind during the drive was that a lot of it felt artificial like a playstation.
