Huayra And you thought Porsche's options were expensive.....

The Pagani Huayra, a successor to the Pagani Zonda, was initially revealed online in a press release on 25 January 2011. It was officially revealed at the 2011 Geneva Motor Show. The car is named after the Quechua god of wind, Huayra-tata. The engine is a 6.0-litre twin-turbo M158 V12 engine from Mercedes-AMG producing 544 kW (740 PS; 730 hp) and 1,000 N⋅m (740 lb⋅ft) of torque. The Huayra's body is made from carbotanium; a lightweight composition of carbon fibre and titanium. The Huayra has been redesigned from the ground up, but shares many visual qualities with its predecessor. The car can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (97 km/h) in 3.2 seconds and has a top speed of 235 mph (378 km/h). Only 100 units of the Huayra were produced, each costing £1,000,000 (1.05 million US$) without options.

No man JLBM - it's just not the same! :)

One man's gauche is another man's art. And the Pagani products have to be appreciated as rolling artforms - whether you like the art or not is down to personal taste no? One has to appreciate the lost art of craftsmanship in my opinion - very few cars exude this level of individual identity and loving attention to detail. Such a thing deserves to be celebrated in my opinion - otherwise how boring would the world be?

Getting the son's Polo kitted out for a Christmas present so called a friend who use to work with me when I sold car audio systems and went down to his place to discuss what to do. Well man was I shocked how things have progressed over the last 18 years, the demo they did 8 yrs ago its boot looks just like the above image but the inside blew me away and they are currently working on its replacement kitted out with Hertz Audio gear.

I don't know how it is else where but over here the aftermarket industry has changed dramatically where 90% of their business is from the car trade.

Mmmmmmm.... I guess. I was once told there is no such thing as bad art.

I have to disagree in the strongest terms!

Guys, remove the plush leather and knowledge that the system resides in a Pagani. Now try to imagine a Sony boom box.

There, you have it!
