So, Hello.

I'm from the UK, I like BMW's, Pink Floyd, and drinkin'.

I've been a BMW enthusiast since I was hooked on the looks of the E24 as a boy, since then I've had several BMW's (E28 528i, E24 635CSi, E30 320i 4-dr, E28 520i, E34 525i Tourer, E36 328i Sport Coupe, E46 320d Tourer, E87 120d), it's not a glamorous list, but then I'm never fussed about having the latest and greatest - I'm more interested in sampling a wide of an array as I can.

As far as ze other German cars go... If I had to state a second preference in the German car world it would be Mercedes, I like and respect them for many of the same reasons I do BMW. Aside from being interested in the corporate side of the behemoth that is VW Group, I'm not really into Audi's at all - I had a (B6) A4 and (C6) A6 Avant as company cars for short periods. Not saying they're bad cars, they just leave me cold.

The only other thing worth mentioning is my passion for motorsport, particularly the BTCC and Endurance racing. I attend as many races as a I can and while I'm there, taking as many photo's as I can. This year, amongst others, I managed to visit every BTCC round, a DTM race, the N24, Le Mans and Spa 24 races, which was pretty cool.

welcome, i like the intro.

BMWs Pink floyd and drinking..

btw klier is lying we don't need more BMW fans, the ones we have are very loud.

Welcome to GCF @Matski great collection of cars you have driven over the years, I would be interested to hear your comments about each car what you liked best and worst.

Good taste in music and hope you go have some drinks in a pub listening to live rock music.

I am a fan of 70's rock myself, Deep Purple, Doors, Led Zeppelin, Iron Butterfly, Uriah Heep, you name it.

Cheers and bottoms up, a ice cold beer on the menu tonight for me!:D:t-cheers:

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

Forgot to ask you, what's your field of drinking?

English real ale, Belgian beer, German lager, Russian Vodka, American bourbon, Scotch whiskey, Mexican tequila, dark rum, dry gin, cloudy cider....

... and a bucket.

Can't beat the classics, in terms of both rock music and BMWs! I'm off to see Dave Gilmour in concert this year which will be awesome ... I was hoping to get ACDC tickets too, but tout prices are silly.

As for the cars... Maybe I'll post at length elsewhere another time, but in short, the E24 has always been my dream car, mine was stolen and never recovered part way through mechanical restoration... But I have to say, for me the E28 528i was the best of all of them.

I've grown really attached the the 1 series actually, the little fella has done me proud this year - despite being a bit low rent in terms of finish its got a lot of character. Going to keep it until I have the funds (and can find) an E3 3.0Si.
