No surprises here. The car is a star. Interstingly the weight measured differ from both tests. It is easy to deck a car with option and disregard the weight penalties that come with it.

...and it was the same testcar. :D (AMS: 1404 kg, Sport Auto: 1417 kg)

Geez, makes you wonder what kind of numbers will the 991 will put down. It's going to decimate all...

AMS 911 GT3 RS acceleration curve

With an incredibly fast 0,12 second shift from 1st to 2nd gear.

Just bought the magazine. Great issue!

Some additional info about the GT3 RS Supertest:

Getting of the line is easier but not faster with the TC ON. 4,1 seconds from 0-100 km/h with and without traction control.
Thanks to its 15 more hp and shorter gears, the RS did 80-180 km/h in 5th gear 2,5 seconds faster than the regular GT3 (13,2 vs. 15,7 s)
Aerodinamic: Both cars (GT3 and RS) has the same front end, so downforce is the same as well. However, the RS' rear wing generates 30 kg more downforce at 200 km/h (49 vs. 19 kg).
Max. cornering G-force: 1,5 g (!)
18 m slalom: 74,7 km/h (new record!)
110 m evasive test: 162 km/h (new record!)
Wet handling track: the RS is 6,7 seconds slower than the GT3 "thanks" to its N1-Cup tires.

Scans will come this weekend.

This is the best Porsche for me, i like it more than Turbo PDK.I know Turbo is faster than this GT3 RS but the reasons why i like GT3 more are:

1)It has an unique high-revving and naturally-aspirated engine without any lag and with incredible sound.

2)It is lighter than Turbo, more agile and handles better, that's why it is a little faster than Turbo in Hockenheim.

Turbo PDK is a more comfortable car in daily driving and has more luxury and hugely fast in a straight line but still not as much fan as the GT3, especially RS.

But i have always wondered why Porsche doesn't put 7-speed PDK transmission into GT3 models?

Because it is one of the last, real, old-school sportscars. And those cars are made with manual gearbox.:usa7uh:
