No HHR-time.
4,5 stars because it's a supercar with the everyday-usability of a supercar. Also the sportsuspenion is uncomfortable at low speeds.

Even though it's 90kg heavier and has 10hp less, it is quicker then the R8 GT. Impressive!
 
R8V10 make the R8 GT overpriced and unnecessary....
Well, not really cause the R8 GT is the pre-facelift model, and Audi is going to release a new R8 GT above the V10 Plus.. So it's just an older model, not really unnecessary. The upcoming GT is going to be sick... concidered how fast the V10 Plus already is.

Best time what the R8 GT has get 0-200 km/h is in 10.8 seconds. But, soon the R8 Plus goes 10.5 s or under that.

but I think GT is too hardcore for the streets and also expensive. If it was my money R8 V10 all the way.

That's factory's claim - no one was able to managed that time. The best measured times are 11,1 s (Quattroruote) and 11,2 s (AutoBild Sportscars). With only driver the R8 Plus is capable for a 10,5 s time IMO.

Very nice test, but I think the Autobild, Autozeitung and Sportauto get better result than the AMS. I can't wait the summertest.

Who would ever have thought than an Audi would render a Lamborghini superfluous. But here we are in the 21st century and you'd be smarter to buy an Audi R8 V10 Plus over a Gallardo. And not because it's cheaper, rather, because it's the better car.
