The Corvette is america's top fuel efficient car?

:D :D :D

Funny how the Lexus IS and RX are called "near luxury" cars. It's like a slap in the face to Lexus. :D

Till the new 7-Series hit the streets! :t-cheers:

I wouldn't count on that. The S-Class has always been notorious for how cleanly it runs. It has won many awards for that. Just my .02.

Doubtful considering the X6 still consumes 1.3L more then the ML in this test. So I wouldn't hold my breath for the 7er.

In German Autobild there was a test between S500 and new 750i. Result: 750i used less fuel than S500. So I wouldnt hold my breath for the Benz either ;) Not bad for a car with a more powerful engine.

^LOL, I guess we shouldn't hold our breath for the Benz or the BMW.

I think my IQ just dropped. What a stupid list. When we talk fuel efficiency, the S-class or Vette shouldn't even be on the list. Here in Europe fuel efficient cars are Smart, Yaris, Polo and proper cars which purpose is to consume as little fuel as possible.

That's what's so funny about this list. You have a bunch of overweight and fat SUVs and luxury cars on the list. Where is the Corolla or Civic Hybrid for example?

I think this list was done "by class", not the most fuel efficient cars in the US...

...and I think we have to remember that the US seldom gets the most fuel efficient versions of every model.

No offense sako97, but you're posting far too many things with no sources listed... Is there a link as to who compiled this list?
