Hi all
i would like to see your opinions , i don't have German car i was always american cars fanboy, my first car was 1995 mustang gt, 2nd 1996 mustang gt 3rd camaro Z28 4th and currently Mercury grand marquis.
you see i always own a V8 cars, i love the feel the sound the torque i love big natural aspirated V8s, i know there 6 & 4 cylinders cars are faster but its about the feeling of the V8, always been american cars owner, family and friends also they own amercian cars, always heared about germans cars are not reliable bla bla bla, in the past two years of owning 2010 BMW X6 (wife car) i changed my mind i went deeper focusing in germans cars and the car that make this big change my brother in law audi R8. i loved the interior quality, fit & finish. the handling and technology, yes now i can see clearly the plasticy interior of my car cheap materials, mushy & clunky suspension.
the problem is german V8s are expensive , in my country i can get new Dodge charger R/T 5.7L V8 380 HP, with navigation heated/cooled seats etc etc all standard , same price for german car i get Audi A4 which its 2.0 small car and every thing is optional not standard like navi etc etc, thats really raise up the price.
Price of BMW 550i which i thinking about it a bit more than Corvette Z06.
Audi A7 3.0 price same Chrysler 300C SRT8 big luxury and powerful 475 HP 6.4L V8.
you can see what i mean, i can get used 2006 bmw 750li for a fair price around 18000 $ but owning this car without warranty is a mistake.
so if i move for a german car it will be not a V8.
you see what i mean guys i can't make my decision, thanks for reading.
