33 Stradale Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 inspired Supercar

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is a sports car manufactured by Alfa Romeo. Unveiled on August 30, 2023, the car was made available with two powertrain options, either a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged 690T V6 engine (which is a development of the engine from the Giulia Quadrifoglio) or an all-electric powertrain option.
Not sure where you got the last sentence from, as it's not mentioned in the article you linked.

From Alfa's own press release:

Well I simply copied it over and gave the Source. They've completely rewritten that entire "Powertrain" paragraph and I know for a fact others were saying the same as us about the Alfa Romeo engine vis a vis a the "Nettuno" unit.

It's not even recognisable.

So what do I do, screenshot everything now too? Smh.

Can't say, but this is definitely on EVO Magazine, it's absolutely nothing I've done.

See? If you cut and paste the first paragraph into Google Search, it matches exactly what I copied initially.

Unfortunately you can't get the whole paragraph using this method, but it proves my point, they've changed it, so I guess that's that then, screenshots ahead.

Meh...
Bunch of idiots. What does an utterly overpriced MC20 brings to the table?

They still don't have a Giulia coupe or wagon; no replacement for the Giulietta, Mito, no Spider, nor an E segment car.... But hey, we have a halo car
I don't even think it looks gorgeous, just ok; more like a bad take on the De Tomaso, which already looks like a cartoonish take on old 330P4, 33 Stradale, etc.

Finally, how many times are they going to change the design language in a few years....they had a very cohesive theme until 159/Brera, then curvy/retro 8C came and they put that style on Mito and Giulietta, then reverse it on Giulia/Stelvio, and now back to vintage......

I wonder if it wasn't for the Italian government's minister and agencies using Giulias everywhere, would they be still alive.

So many thoughts, particularly as I feel some irrational attachment for Alfa to do well.....

1) I very much like the styling, but don't love it. As the name suggests it's very much a tribute to the 33 Stradale by modernizing every aspect of the original. So the problem lies in that I'd rather have an Alfa supercar that was inspired by the 33 with a more overall forward-looking design language. One reason for doing a halo car is to declare a statement of intent of what lies ahead. If the statement is that future Alfas are going to crib elements from this homage, then I feel conflicted.

2) For such a hyped car, only 33 production cars is just BS. At least 100-200 ought to be produced.

3) The switchgear and interior looks very promising. I wish there were close-up pics of the overhead switches. Which leads me to my next point...

4) It looks like the screen seen in sketches is omitted, so how does one interface with HVAC controls?

5) I am sure it sensible to use the MC20 Nettuno engine in car whose platform is based on the MC20, but I'd rather they'd use the 2.9L V6 from the Giulia/Stelvio QF.

6) I am curious what the take-rate of the BEV version is versus the ICEV. Considering it's being cast as direct homage of the Tipo 33, I don't see why anyone would get a BEV of this.

Right now, I feel like I should be head-over-heels lusting for this, but for I am not. Then again, I've been feeling absolutely off these past 48 hours. Maybe on another day, I'll feel an unrelenting desire for this, I am just not there right now.

The original 33 Stradale was IMO the single most beautiful car -

Pure form follows function.

This new, while it looks stunning at first glance, when you soak it in, you realize is just an overdesigned, gaudy bauble. The only value, really is, there will be only 33 of them.

well, i done messed up. TopGear and EVO are stating it's an evolution of QF's V6.

Front gives my 720S vibes.

It looks a bit riced to be honest. But nevertheless probs to Alfa for doing it I guess.
