Yeah, that's exactly the same thing. Both our family cars, Seat Αrosa and Seat Alhambra have exactly the same feature. If you turn on the indicator while the engine is turned off, the head and rear lights will illuminate. Mind that our cars are 10 years old, so I guess that every VAG model has that feature, at least since 1997.I've never heard of such a feature, interesting.
In our car if the indicator stalk is accidentally engaged, the brake lights will turn on on the side which the indicator stalk is turned to. I'm not sure if we're referring to the same thing.
