A Lucky 15-Year-Old Got a Pagani Huayra on his Birthday

Do you remember what you got for your 15th birthday? Sorry, but that Playstation definitely wasn't as cool as this. A 15-year-old from the Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung received this gleaming Pagani Huayra on his birthday. We can’t even imagine what he’ll get next year.

Surely this makes him one of the youngest supercar owners in the world (if not already the youngest Pagani owner), and the newest member of the lofty 700-horsepower club.

When prodded, the sculptural Huayra will unleash its twin-turbo AMG V12 to lay down 730 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque to the road, propelling the Italian supercar from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds, onto a top speed of 224 mph. Happy Birthday bud, and remember – keep it between the lines.

Oh, & I forgot to put it up in the original post. But...

FML

:D

I think I was 11yo when my parents woke me up on my Birthday and told me to put some clothes on as fast as possible as there's a surprise waiting for me on the driveway. I ran like the wind almost fell on the stairs. Had to tie my shoes but wasn't that fast at the time. When I was finally ready to get out and after a million questions like "At least tell me if it's blue"... idiots even told me it's blue :D Then they started laughing...
My birthday is NOT on the 1st of April. My parents are idiots tho :D

PS: I would never buy my kid a hypercar on his 15th birthday not because it's dangerous but just because I'll kill a dream of his. My father could have done that but he didn't. Now I'm glad he didn't.

I would have been pissed if my father gave me a Pagani. I want a LaFerrari!

When I was a little kid BMXs came out. All I wanted was a BMX. A Chrome Moly Redline 600a. Instead my father bought me a no-name brand with a gross yellow paintjob. I know exactly how this kid feels.

Wow Martin. You just made me re-live the moment in 1984 when my dad came home from a business trip, took from his suitcase an absolutely fantastic KITT toy car just like I'd always wanted - and then proceeded to give it to my sister. (I did get something too, but I was absolutely mortified nevertheless.)

Damn I guess fathers are alike :D
I always dreamed of going to the US when I was a kid.
When my father went there for the first time he brought back some socks and gave them to me.
My mother later told me they were promotional material given to him for free :D
Ahhh and he bought 7 x Mazda CX-7(first imports in EU) and 4 x Subaru Tribeca during that trip.
He is real life's Mr. Scrooge.

Yep, vehicle color transcends all socio-economic barriers!

I will say though, of all the Huayrayaa photos I've seen, that yellow suits the car best! None of that 'I live in Monaco' fancy burgundy, brown, merlot ..yucky colors. Simple loud and proud yellow! Bham!!

Also, it's funny how they've painted that parking garage. I guess they had to make it blatantly obvious where to drive with that green paint! :D

We can’t even imagine what he’ll get next year.

He'll probably be dead before then. A 15 year old in a 700hp car equals certain death, especially if he drives like I did at that age. My first car was a 37hp 1100cc Mini Clubman.
