Once again, the troll throws out a bait comment and starts a pointless argument
You're making comments that exceed your capabilities. You were banned from the forum, yet you shamelessly returned and are still trying to give people advice, you certified troll dalab.

You're just a spoiled teenager who only likes to go out and have fun. Your private life is nothing more than what you do with the allowance you get from your father. When you have nothing else to say, you stoop so low as to claim that you have more than me thanks to the opportunities your rich father provides you. You don't surprise me, son. You can contact me when you have your own life and profession. :giggle:
Why don't you take a break from the forum to reflect on the stupid, personal things you're writing? You're completely out of line.

Or do those door handles actually comply with new regs in China ? It would seem that Volvo/Geely could have been on top of this prior to the EX60's offficial presentation. Also, they are not so dissimilar to those recently sighted on the large BMW and Audi SUV prototypes.

Not that I know. I'm just musing here.

Honestly, what do you think?
It's perfectly legal otherwise they wouldn't be there. We shouldn't be acting as if they don't know what they're doing.

This latest trend of questioning the legality of new door handles is truly baffling.

What I personally think (but do not know for sure) is that they are compliant.

Regarding the door handles, I can say that they not only look great, different, and modern, but they also invite me to open and close them, seemingly providing a certain satisfaction. I don't know how they perform in everyday practicality, but there don't seem to be any problems with that either.

I’m really curious to use them and see what it feels like.

By removing the logos, we can tell which company these cars belong to, except for BMW. BMW has beautiful designs, but I'm sorry to say it's the most soulless.
Trolling on the level of the US ICE sending protestors an Ice cream truck offering free ICE’s.

Volvo has an almost Tesla like aesthetic. Minimalist.
Mercedes looks more like a production car. Anonymous.
BMW brandishes historic aesthetics, modernity and solidity of a typical X segment product.
They reflect the trends of each brands direction. From forward thinking to confusing.

Indeed fully electric door locks. What a shitty construction.

This appears to be an accurate assessment of the EX60's "doorhandle status" according to some online research:

"The New Chinese Regulation (GB Standard)

At the end of 2025, China announced stricter regulations for door handles (effective January 1, 2027). This was prompted by accidents in which rescuers were unable to operate recessed handles after a crash (and subsequent power outage).

The requirement: Every door (except the tailgate) must have a mechanical release mechanism that can be operated without tools. A minimum gripping area is also prescribed (approximately 60 mm x 20 mm).

Compliance: Since the EX60 was only recently introduced (early 2026) and China is Volvo's most important market, the model was developed specifically to meet these new standards (GB 7258 Revision). The mechanical emergency release mechanism is a standard feature of the EX60's design."

Anything discovered that would refute this ?
