So i can’t share an opinion?Just shut up with your 5 year old nonsense ffs.
The large bezels on the screens are a significant drawback for a vehicle updated in 2026.The FL GLS looks already dated with those larger headlights, in this age of headlights becoming smaller and slimmer due to advanced LED tech, it uses headlights with even larger headlight housings than my 2016 W213 E-class.
I actually like most of the GLS interior, the changes done to the central air vents, the new wood and the leather used on the doors and seats look expensive and really great quality but the screens really spoil its interior.
How can Mercedes allow this flagship SUV to be launched with 3 screens with such massive black bezels? There is about 10cm of black bezel between the driver and middle screen and maybe 7 to 8cm between the central screen and the passenger screen. Even the top of bezel is close to 5cm thick!! WTF!!
They should have kept the same screen height as before or they should have fitted 14inch screens then the bezels would be thinner.
Its so cheap it hurts my eyes to look at it!!! This is worse than the Pre FL model!!

It’s not an opinion, you keep saying these biased and childish stuff all the time.So i can’t share an opinion?
Even though Mercedes is clearly better? It seems like you’re just against me Sir.It’s not an opinion, you keep saying these biased and childish stuff all the time.
Ok, we get your enthusiasm for Mercedes products.
Oh please. Spare us this bullshit. Of course they have the budget to redesign these vehicles. The problem is that they hadn’t planned to do so initially because everything was going EV. Of course there will be a new GLS and GLE in the coming years. The large bezels on the screens are a significant drawback for a vehicle updated in 2026.
Unfortunately, having spent tens of billions of euros on the EQ nonsense, they no longer have the budget to completely redesign the GLE and GLS. With declining profitability and turnover, they were forced to implement a second facelift, but they will face the completely new X5, X7, Q7, and Q9, which will come with new designs and technologies. This will severely damage their competitive edge.
Keeping these already 8-year-old models on the market with this design for another 4 years will be another loss for Mercedes.
Oh come on now. Every Mercedes product is “clearly” better to you anyways. I’m talking about the behavior, not which brand is better or not, in any circumstance. We’re not 5 years old.Even though Mercedes is clearly better? It seems like you’re just against me Sir.
This isn't nonsense. These are facts.Oh please. Spare us this bullshit. Of course they have the budget to redesign these vehicles. The problem is that they hadn’t planned to do so initially because everything was going EV. Of course there will be a new GLS and GLE in the coming years.

Will the next GLE & GLS come in 2030 just as the W224?Oh please. Spare us this bullshit. Of course they have the budget to redesign these vehicles. The problem is that they hadn’t planned to do so initially because everything was going EV. Of course there will be a new GLS and GLE in the coming years.

This isn't nonsense. These are facts.
You dismiss the comments of everyone who disagrees with you as nonsense.
Mercedes is having to facelift two 8-year-old models for the second time, extending their lifespan by another 3-4 years. Mercedes last extended the lifespan of a model this much in the 80s.
Of course, the GLE and GLS will be completely redesigned in the coming years, but the EQ family cost a lot of money, and Mercedes lost money. Profitability decreased, turnover dropped. They killed off some models and had to extend the lifespan of others. These are facts. Whether you accept it or not, that's your problem.
