The FL GLS looks already dated with those larger headlights, in this age of headlights becoming smaller and slimmer due to advanced LED tech, it uses headlights with even larger headlight housings than my 2016 W213 E-class.

I actually like most of the GLS interior, the changes done to the central air vents, the new wood and the leather used on the doors and seats look expensive and really great quality but the screens really spoil its interior.

How can Mercedes allow this flagship SUV to be launched with 3 screens with such massive black bezels? There is about 10cm of black bezel between the driver and middle screen and maybe 7 to 8cm between the central screen and the passenger screen. Even the top of bezel is close to 5cm thick!! WTF!!

They should have kept the same screen height as before or they should have fitted 14inch screens then the bezels would be thinner.

Its so cheap it hurts my eyes to look at it!!! This is worse than the Pre FL model!!

There is no denying that the headlights are way too big and the screens looks terrible. That said, watch it sell.

I would bet that the EQE models are dying for sure. The GLC and C EVs will cover those. Now the EQS SUV has no real replacement coming in the short term, so I would say it might get the same updates as the EQS Sedan. The EQS SUV is so out of sight and irrelevant I'd forgotten it even exists. It is by far, IMO the ugliest of the EQ quartet.

M
The next EQS SUV should be an Escelade IQ competitor. The only way they can do this is if they make the next GLS ride on both an ICE & EV platform.

One of the YouTubers is saying that the GLE63 and GLS63 will be shown in June.

When are we expecting the GLS Maybach?

I really don't see what the fuss is about the interior upgrades on the GLE and GLS. And certainly no upgrades that warrant the claims its now a true S. Typical journalists just regurgitating launch rubbish.

Apart from the new screens and vents, and some extra leather and trim options, it looks entirely the same to me. Same cheap plastics on the lower doors too.

I think the interior is really nice, but I agree with you I think these headlights seem to go backwards, but I think I could still live with it. Probably such a well developed car at this point.
