2026 Mercedes GLE/GLS Facelift

How is this attractive? What a downgrade!

GLE/GLS owners of previous facelift have no reason to upgrade, only if they need a passenger screen, cheap plastic grill and more plastic on the rear lights.

The way headlight touches the grill with a straight line is messing the whole front.

GLS is trying too hard to be imposing but Range Rover now has even more elegance.

IMO this looked way more elegant, just throw the stars inside headlights and its enough.

So many goddamn stars. 2 on the headlights, one on the hood and grille, millions of them as a grille pattern. They are on the lower bumper as well. Sheesh. At some point it just gets corny.
Mercedes has decided to put 1 million stars on their cars to ensure everyone is 100% certain that these vehicles are Mercedes.

Even Maybach has this absurdity. The car's front grille had numerous Maybach logos. Whoever came up with this idea needs to understand that it's not a good one.

There's a Turkish proverb: No jeweler uses slogans to sell gold. I don't think Mercedes putting so many stars on their cars is a good idea.

Agreed. No need to put all of that stuff to prove it’s a Benz, as if people can’t tell what it is just by the iconic star logo. Smh.

I guess we’ll have to wait a month to see the Maybach version of the GLS? The GLS looks a mess and why does the GLC EV get a better screen setup? Makes no sense. For me the GLE is a big improvement especially with the engines, except the inexplicable stubbornness to update that base 4-cylinder.

AMG needs to throw a massive reveal/event for the new S63, CLE63 Mythos, GLS63, and GLE63. Have the GLC63, C63, and regular production CLE63 all under wraps in the background.

Now will mbusa force the star on the USA market version is the question. Should be optional.

This 2nd facelift is a massive disappointment. It makes both models look dated somehow with their big chrome grills and black borders using the same design as the E class which doesn't suit these SUVs.

I think both models look less attractive than the pre FL models. The GLE looks so much better than the GLS which looks disastrous at the front with those huge lights.

The interior screens look cheap and really dated with only 12.3 inch separated by massive besels. Why did they not just use the GLC hyperscreen? They deserve the best tech as they so damn expensive!

Also Mercedes why not put soft covering inside the door pockets? It's the attention to detail that is missing at Mercedes Benz. They don't upgrade the cheap parts of the interior that everyone complains about. The same happened with the S class FL and the black shiny door trim.
