"Apparently" you're misinformed. The brand with build quality issues for years is Mercedes, not BMW, in case you weren't aware and they're now addressing those problems.
The build quality of the iX3 isn't in question; on the contrary, it's been praised by members of this forum who have sat in it, and by testers in general. "Apparently," it seems you don't even know what "build quality" means.

I heard in the videos that everything that appears to be metal inside the GLC EQ is actually painted plastic,—speaker grilles, the large interior door handles, etc.
Having said that, the GLC EQ seems to solve many of Mercedes' previous problems.
