This sedan seems perfectly fine.

That pretty much sums it up for current Audi products in general. No more, no less. Unoffensive, politely unabtrusive, stoic.

I still have info that said RS6 will be V8 Hybrid and RS5 V6 Hybrid.

The RS5 will be show Q4 this year and RS6 Q2 2026.

It would be nice to see a RS6 saloon again to tackle the new M5 saloon. Its been a while since the last RS6 saloon, I think C6 version if I am correct.

Having been quite critical regarding Audi AG and Audi vehicles in general as of late, I must say that this particular C9 A6 sedan looks mighty attractive:

Surprisingly "cabin back" from a number of angles.

The video's host maintains that it may be a vehicle that attracts "more affluent male pensioners that want to treat themselves to a conservative yet elegant sedan following retirement". Not the most exciting demographic, but here in Germany one of the larger segments of it. Maybe Audi will be able to sell a few after all. The Avant, on the other hand, should be a highly successful company car.

Meh I'm not a fan. Reusing the A5's rear bumper clashes with the more angular taillights imo, and the random Hofmeister kink is completely out of place.

This C9 does not come close to the C8 imo.. C8 was perfection, except the fake exhaust tips

Cost cutting is not only clear in the inside, also on the outside. All the super sharp tight radius creases that they used to tout about are gone, and the side while clean is so generic. It's literally the same lines as last generation just dulled down to the max.

...advantageous is the reduced complexity of dent repair. And smooth surfacing is widely perceived to "age better" than designs highlighted by folds and creases. Although folds and creases can lend to a bit of eyecatching drama.

The new A6 looks good from the front and profile but I am not liking the tail lights and also the curved bootlid and lack of 3D badges, which cheapens the effect of the 4 rings.

The interior is a mixed bag. I really like the micro fiber and half-leather seats and use of microfiber on the door cards but the use of the black piano plastic large one panel switch on the doors and also the center console cheapens the interior. The lower door cards in hard plastic with no felt inside is also a no no for this kind of car. The dashboard and wide angle screen looks hardly different to the cheaper A5 models and again makes you question what the benefit of an A6 over an A5 inside the car except for a few cm of extra legroom.

It lacks the use of metal and wood trim surfaces and expensive looking switches like the previous model.
