Looks like production front end with the C9 lights. Can't believe people really thought the test mule using the B10 front clip was going to make it to production lol.

I like the C9 A6, but I feel that there "is too much going on" with regard to the exterior design of the RS versions. Turn down the volume a bit, Audi.

Disagree. RS fixes the front end issues for me and looks less "mopey" than the A6.

My issues with the C9 RS6 pertain to the sculpturing of the flank sheetmetal. I much prefer what designers appear to have accomplished with the C9 Allroad:

Maintaining impressively planted stance without "going overboard" and making the C9 appear caricaturesque. Less is more. And...devoid of those silly front fender vents. Yeah, design flow disruptive, tacky and a pet peeve of mine.

Yeah no doesn't seem like it's getting a V8.

V6 RS 6 is DOA.

Maybe a facelift in the form of an "RS 6 Plus" may bring back the V8.

From what i heard back in 2024. It Will be a V8 plug in Hybrid for the RS6 and it's coming in 2026. The RS5 is coming this year with a V6 hybrid setup.

You can hear what you want to hear.

In terms of physical evidence, the video is right there and you posted it yourself. That exhaust note is a 2.9 ttV6, not a 4.0 ttV8.

And it's been mentioned since 2023 that the RS 6 would be getting a V6, whatever reports are saying it was a V8 was incorrect information and/or will be getting a V8 far later in it's lifetime.

...I still prefer the aesthetic qualities of the upcoming C9 Allroad. As for the RS5 and RS6...arguably somewhat "cartoonish". Too much sheer brawn rather than athletic elegance.

The design is a little busy, but yeah it doesn't look bad. The wagon looks better than the sedan IMO.

Personally, I prefer sedans—they're more elegant than station wagons.
This sedan seems perfectly fine, except for the grotesquely oversized grille, which is also unfortunately tilted forward in a way that resembles a person with a jaw deformity.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
