I really hope they take their learnings from AMG.EA and plug them straight into the regular MB.EA-M/L cars as soon as is practically possible. This car looks extremely agile and adjustable on the limit Its going to be one of the best driving Mercedes AMG cars out.

Maybe future AMG EV's will include an App Store that allow you to buy different sounds for €1.99.The V8 sound is simulated with remarkable accuracy and played through the sound system. The sound was recorded from the AMG GT (C190) model year 2014 onwards (not from the current C192 generation). Due to less stringent emissions standards, the sound of the C190 generation AMG GT was even more authentic and unfiltered.
Well back when the first cars were being introduced, you didn't have a litany if horse enthusiasts and horse journalists acting like a bunch of little babies at the very idea of cars and waxing lyrical about how cars don't have the soul or the feel or the sound of a thoroughbred horse.I do find it shameful to have an EV play fake engine sounds. It is as if the first ICE cars made the sound of a horse or something.
Silly. I have heard several Taycans on the street and on my parking at home and the sound is cool enough, no need to further fake it IMO.Well back when the first cars were being introduced, you didn't have a litany if horse enthusiasts and horse journalists acting like a bunch of little babies at the very idea of cars and waxing lyrical about how cars don't have the soul or the feel or the sound of a thoroughbred horse.
The only reason this gimmick exists, is because people seemed to love it on the Ionic 5N and people keep complaining about the lack of "soul" in EVs.
Looking forward to hearing the crazy frog ringtone drive past.Maybe future AMG EV's will include an App Store that allow you to buy different sounds for €1.99.

Yes, there will be several different types. The first one to be released is the 63. This isn't the most powerful version.@leylandi Do you think the car will be available in several versions? I spoke to someone who told me there’ll be ‘at least two versions’ at the launch, including one with 1,200 hp and aero parts.
Any ideas regarding the specs of the "base" version ?Yes, there will be several different types. The first one to be released is the 63. This isn't the most powerful version.
I think the motors are comfortably capable of 1MW consistently. So that'll probably be the top end trim.My guess (based on absolutely nothing but gut feeling) is 989 HP base, 1,139 HP Pro version, with the extra 150 resulting from a temporary Boost function.
