Tell me how GOOD the Taycan Turbo GT is doing in the market my good sir😂

The Turbo GT is quite the niche product. More relevant is the sales performance of the base, 4 and 4S models. Although far from their peaks in 2022 and 2023, they continue to remain relatively popular company cars for younger, more dynamic cutting edge tech enterprise executives. Hence, stating "utter failure" is not accurate. Residuals are an issue however. And hardly exclusively a Porsche issue. Apprehension towards transformation is a given, especially in (formerly) "developed" societies with an increasingly aging demographic that can be firmly anchored in more conservative, reactionary dogmas. And that particular demographic is often the most affluent. It's horizon is, by nature, inherently limited. Not necessarily in "bad thing" in terms of philosophy. But also something that can obstruct big picture scenarios when it comes to technological progress and innovation-as well as finances.

This car would have been interesting in 2018-2020. Today, acceleration speed is commodity. My neighbours EX30 does 0-62mph in 3.6sec. AMG can’t use acceleration as a bragging right.

You can buy a used one for probably 14% of what this AMG will retail at. I know it might seem apples to oranges, but if it’s not lighter or much faster than a Volvo, then you will pay $200k for an over engineered product.

You’re absolutely right to say that EVs have taken the shine out of sports cars a little bit, because it’s something that everybody can really have these days, a fast car.

Now it will all come down to how they handle the curves and how they differentiate themselves with the return to fashion of coupes.

Indeed, suspensions and torque vectoring will play an important role regarding differentiation. As will materials and the refinement of audiotactility. The entire experience will become far more immersively holistic. The exclusive "acceleration and speed" differentiator has fallen prey to the levelling of the BEV playing field in this particular context.
