As I had expected, for me a bit of a buzzkill. Not terrible mind you, but really little more than a concept with a number of significantly overextended theatrical details. Now I am hoping that the actual production version will be far more elegantly subdued. This concept looks "juvenile"rather than "mature and refined".
And the interior...simply NO.

A shame. The real thing won't look anything like this. This is just a concept car through and through.

But yeah the rear end styling is amazing and something they can try and retain for the real thing. The front end however, looks like a maserati miura, and not necessarily in a good way.
Interior is classic concept car - completely impractical.

It certainly appears to be.

Hopefully, we will not be confronted with a presentation this evening that can be likened to having picked up a woman with a fantastic figure while heavily intoxicated during a wild night on the town. Awakening in the morning and seeing that beautiful body, lying face down in the pillow, veiled in body clinging silk sheets. And then...a face is revealed that features excessive, smudged makeup and very poor dental work.

The devil is in the details.

Yep...

As feared, precisely THIS has happened.

Shape is really nice.
Why did they do that to its face though? Its like they tried to mash up the AMG EQ concept from a couple years ago with the C111 revival concept, and failed at capturing it properly.

The real thing just won't look like this, so why bother? The car is less than a year away from launch is it not? There are test mules? Why not show us what it'll actually look like?

I don´t see so much of MBs DNA.
But I do see Maserati (front), Ford GT40 (lights), Ferrari (rear lights)...
Onother missed chance

I think the direction is great, because while it’s obviously far from a production car, and the 4door GT looks just right where this one is wrong - more importantly we can see AMG taking on the C111 concept as their ideal, and the rumored ev hypercar will definitely look sick if they base it on that.

Could literally have been from any new pop up brand. Zero identity.
And tragic screen setup in the interior.

It's got that generic 'sporty EV shape' we see all the time now. And the details that should make the difference are ugly and/or excessive, like the one piece grille and 6 taillights.

IMHO, a modification for the better. Far better.

Deleting those hood vents near the base of the windscreen would be even better. An absolutely "clean" hood could make a world of difference-in a very positive sense. The body of this car does not need ANY tacky crap. Far less, better yet NOTHING, is far more in the case of this car.
