this new FL 308 looks better in videos than in pictures. I like the DRL claws and the lights in the grill with the illuminated Lion badge.

I'll agree with the "contrived" part.

Actually I like the pre-facelift version quite a lot. Fresh design with aggressive styling elements that resulted in a tidy car, not an over-designed one. Yet, they couldn't hold it and had to ruin the damn car. Both the front and rear ends are officially overdone. The interior was nothing to write home about in the first place, but what isn't a blob of hard gray plastics these days?

Yeah, Peugeot used to be famous for their hot hatches. It's badly needed again if only to lift their grandma image....

The 205 GTI was brilliant. 106 XSI was brilliant. More of that please.

Exactly:
306 GTI-6, 309GTI(with the MI16 engine), 106 Rallye, 206RC, RCZ-R
405 Turbo,406 MI16.
All on them loved to rev.
Lift of oversteer was also an issue.

We need more hot hatches. Currently there’s only VW,Mini,BMW,Mercedes Benz and the GR Yaris.

They suck compared to the predecessors. But within the current EU Laws they’re relatively good.

But that’s Brussels fault.

Biggest issue is the sound, which is very bad compared to the predecessors.

Also all these cars have these f*cking EU assistants, which you must deactivate on every engine start.

I look forward to the GR Corolla which should be available very soon.

Peugeot

Peugeot is a French brand of automobiles owned by Stellantis. Founded in 1810, Peugeot is regarded as the oldest car company in the world. On 20 November 1858, Émile Peugeot applied for the lion trademark. Armand Peugeot (1849-1915) built the company's first car steam tricycle. They joined forces with Léon Serpollet in 1886; this was followed in 1890 by an internal combustion car with a Panhard-Daimler engine.
