X3/X4 2024 BMW X3

The BMW X3 is an SUV manufactured by BMW since 2003, based on the BMW 3 Series platform. The BMW X4 is a compact luxury crossover SUV manufactured by BMW since 2014. The X4 is widely considered as a "coupé" version of the X3.

Perhaps but quite frankly I really need to get used to the new Macan’s shape, looks like it was hatched by Big Bird..

Haha agreed, an Ostrich would have been proud. It also has that fugly new interior with screens everywhere you look. But the dynamics will likely make up for all of that (unless you want a better EV for half the price in the form of a Hyundai)

This one is shaping up quite nice. Looks a lot like the X1, which could be one of the best looking SUVs in the market right now.
I think the G45 has a potential to be a decent savior for BMW in terms of aesthetic and normalcy alongside with it's little brother-the U11 during an era of design inconsistency and instability in BMW's world.

Having to choose between this and the upcoming iX3 NK is going to give people severe headaches. Both are going to be so tempting.

So the new X3 will look similar to iX3 or not? From the renders/spy photos I have seen the X3 looks like an big X1 and the iX3 like an mini iX

X3 does look like an X1 (Phew!), but the iX3 does not look like an iX at all. Maybe in some talentless renders.

The next X4 will be probably be a Coupe-fied iX3 and named surely iX4.
As usual?
Looking at the current X2 vs X1, X6 vs X5, XM vs X7, which at this point share little or nothing in most of their designs, I would love the new X4/iX4 went down the conceptual path of that render

The shape looks great. Typical X3 greenhouse as well.
Proportions are excellent.
Design seems to be very X1-ish which is good because the X1 is the best looking BMW in the whole lineup.
Rear seems very flat, to the point it is of interest design wise.
Rear lights seem to go full Y shape not just in graphics.

This and the iX3 are going to be a hard to beat combination.
Looks like all of these are getting bigger. The GLC is longer, so will the X3 and the Q5.. what is so fascinating is how big the X1 is. I saw one parked I front of an X4 and they look almost identical in dimensions

The first standalone M is an SUV, so...

Yeah and the first BEV M will not stand alone. Will be based on the NK platform like an i3
And besides, the XM is a modded X5. Nothing stand alone about that other than marketing drivel.

BTW, I am just guessing. And clearly not pretending to be some super special insider.
But the BEV M being tested right now is not an SUV.

Me neither. My point was don't bet against BMW's infatuation with SUVs.

ps. isn't there already an iX M60?
