The "Trickle Down" effect of the G70/71 7er should be substantial. I reckon that we can expect something very special when the new 5er is presented. And the new 5er will be far more EU compatible as well.

#BulkyElegance ;) (y)

It's a true bridge to the Rolls-Royce line-up. Even more when Spectre is premiered since some styling elements will be quite similar.

Some @ BMW describe the new 7er, especially the i7, as "The 9er"

Not really. It's still a 7 Series all-around.

It's a step further. Towards S-class Maybach. Thus a reference to "the 9er" ... as a bridge to RR. Especially in the Individual edition. Nothing new. BMW has been trying to build such bridge for quite some time. Even considering a true 9er at some point. But then went for baby-Rolls (Ghost) instead.

You're now a part of the press. You get the pre-approved official info. But there's much more out there.

saved for revelation
Ja. Because Rims designed in 2013 for the 2015 G11/12 will really suit the 2022 7/i7.

I really like the bold side profile, it makes it look very monolithic.

Still hope the front will not be that chevy pickup heavy like it seems in the teasers and that little window is just part of the camo.

There is that Monolithic and slab sided mi
But it could have been done better if not with more flare. They introduced this sculptural form on the rear wheel arch of the G20. But because it’s a smaller vehicle it doesn’t have the same impact if it was on a larger vehicle for example.

it just widens and lowers the car visually.

Latest renders look great.

If this car had to have double front lights, I still think going for a solution similar to that used by RR, with the main headlights inside a round cluster, would have been much better.

I have a feeling this car will cause "ATEEEEE-NTION!" within people when it slowly drives by or approaches... I like that...

What a rollercoaster this has been.

From absolute disgust from mostly everybody after seeing the initial spy pics to a rather positive vibe this close to launch! And no leaks. Very impressive.
We have another week especially when many will start to receive their packs. As always we have to look out for leaks from…

 :p

Just to clarify how much bigger it will be compared to the G12

In these spy pics we can see both prototypes wearing the same 19” wheels
On the G12 FL they look quite big already but in the G70 they look super small, hence the bigger body and much bigger tires.

It definitely won’t look as athletic as the S-Class or the G12 but it will be the one with the most presence out of the bunch.
The current 7 Series is already huge so we can just wonder how gigantic the G70 will be.

I think we will see leak in the last week of reveal
