Not to mention, most of the S class clientele has been driving this exact car for decades and is not going to change for trivial stuff. Hotels, companies, whatever...they're invested in the brand, dealer, service, etc. And that is not going to change that because there is a piece of hard plastic somewhere inside or because the good people of GCF think the quality is subpar.
The Ritz in Paris has an EQS.

The S-class has been the best selling luxury saloon for many years and that wont change even when the EQS and new 7 is launched. It has alot more brand cache than the 7 series in many countries. The 7-series has always been one of the S-class major rivals and whenever a new model is launched is always an exciting event, rematch and dual starts all over.

It's always the case of the successor that it "reboots the Luxury Matrix" But now you have the successor and the new internal competitor such as the EQS and the i7. Its strategic because both will be played against each other and the winner inherits the template for the successor.

I have absolutely no idea regarding the accuracy of this image...:

...and imagine that the roof and rear lighting units are "off". Yet still, it looks great methinks.

Doubt its even close to that the front looks a mess.

It looks like they are getting closer but details known are not being interpreted and details unknown are being pulled out of their ass.

I remember him saying he saw the official sketches of the G70 but I’m pretty sure that was a bs haha
No I didn’t.
I saw an Electric presentation animation (Darkness with flashing graphics) similar to the preview of the iXM60 shown last year where I confirmed there are split headlights.

Looks like the artist updated the design language on the existing model. This ain't it. The side profile, air breathers, etc. Are the G11.

This ain't it.

Yeah, I didn't really think so. The roof + rear sideglass, the depth of the grill/shield, the über-svelte lower 2/3s'. A pity, as I find the image very attractive. The dialogue between the wheelarches and flanks is absolutely splendid. As so often, reality is a bitch.
