X5 M / X6 M 2020 BMW (F96) X6 M Competition LEAKED

The X5 M is the high-performance variant of the X5. In April 2009, the X6 M version was announced, with a 408 kW (547 hp) version of the BMW S63 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. The BMW X5 M and X6 M are the first vehicles from BMW M GmbH to have xDrive all-wheel-drive system and automatic transmissions, and are also crossovers as opposed to passenger cars.

The X6 is very especial, this leak is serious, quite serious, they left little room for imagination, everything that is important is in sight because the front we already know is equal to the X5
I'm not complaining, I'm just saying

That tail with all the grace of the 8 series is (y)

Sweet leak, car looks like shit though.

Depends which cars you compare it with. It looks far better than the GLEgg or the Cayenne Coupegg IMO.

But the general proportions are still behind the Velar and Q8, at least based on the spy pics.

These leaks are just terrible for BMW. Their security protocols clearly aren’t as tight as other manufacturers. Whatever their procedure is needs to be changed ASAP, by the time this cars are unveiled we would know everything.

Its about the same as the GLE coupe in my book, which is also shit.

The cayenne coupe looks abit better, but its also not good enough.
This whole range of cars 4 door coupe suvs are just plagued by uglyness, the concept does not allow them to look good.

Agreed and the Velar and Q8 are not couped shapes as is the X6/GLE and to the lesser extent the Cayenne.

Well, it seems that ugliness sells and sells a lot, just missing Ferrari that already announced that it is coming, and sooner than later the Rolls Royce Cullinam coupe, {remember my words}, sure you would love that.

I still applaud the arrival of Porsche and others to the market, confirming the great success that the concept is and the originality in the madness of its forms, I do not know if I would choose it instead of a common X5 but I love that the X6 exists
I, like hundreds of thousands of others, think it's spectacular

This looks to have the potential to be the best proportioned SUC, but it's still a SUC. Please refer to my posts in the Cayenne coupe thread regarding this SUCky niche.

EDIT: not feeling that rear reflector.

Loving the Hoffmeister. I am glad they didn't use the same shape as the X4 which makes the C-pillar heavier than it should be. This X6 glasshouse works so well.
Also that bulge covering the rear arch straight from the VFL and 3er.

People these days will like whatever comes next as long as its coming from a "renowned" brand.
This thing looks disgusting and I can't honestly see how anyone could think otherwise.
BMW is making some of the worst looking vehicles on the market these days.
Since a "different" opinion hasn't been allowed for a long time by the crowd over here... instead of typing IMO I'd say I'm stating FACTS!

Fact is that you are issuing a previous trial from a spyshot horribly taken, half hidden, from below, totally deformed and that only shows a rear and the back of the car that looks giant at that angle.

This fact moves us to the second fact, according to you, looks disgusting, without even seeing it as a whole and as it should be seen, with a full-length photo maybe ...
When the official photos come out if it is as ugly as you say, I will be the first to accompany that assertion, but I hope that you wait for that moment to judge based on a reality and that it does not prejudge.
This forum is one of the harder places in their criticism in terms of design, here it takes several days to appreciate something beautiful, almost always the first impulse is to say that it is very ugly

Generally, here is "different" like you said, who thinks favorably of a new vehicle.

Totally f#cking love it. It looks incredible, amazing...jaw dropping. I am blown away by this, really. My God what a leak ! I can`t say that Idon`tlike this but wehave to notice how many important leaks we`ve seen from Bmw. We`ve seen leaked G11 7 series in 2014, the X4, the x5, the 8.

I know the car is jacked up but that's not my problem with it.
I dislike almost every single detail on it.
I'll give you that - It will look less disgusting when official photos are released.

BMW M

BMW M GmbH, formerly known as BMW Motorsport GmbH, is a subsidiary of BMW AG that manufactures high-performance luxury cars. BMW M ("M" for "motorsport") was initially created to facilitate BMW's racing program, which was very successful in the 1960s and 1970s. As time passed, BMW M began to supplement BMW's vehicle portfolio with specially modified higher trim models, for which they are now most known by the general public. These M-badged cars traditionally include modified engines, transmissions, suspensions, interior trims, aerodynamics, and exterior modifications to set them apart from their counterparts. All M models are tested and tuned at BMW's private facility at the Nürburgring racing circuit in Germany.
