^I think you need to research before commenting. Those engines are jointly developed by BMW and PSA.

The A Class uses straight up Renault engines. Mercedes and Renault have plans to co develop but they're not there yet.

Mercedes will use Renault engines

If the a class is half Renault, than the 1 series is half peugeot the audi a3 is half vw and so on...i dont see the point for these discussions

I don't see PSA having any such agreement with BMW. Unlike the other brands mentioned?

Fortunately the Prince engines with the N13 engines are replaced now by the B-engines, developed completely by BMW.

Its ok since Renault engines are/were very reliable, when vw 1.2 1.4 or bmw 1.4 were not,but again, i dont see the point of these comments but "flame".Here we are on the next 1 series topic and not in a versus

Please don't make baseless claims, you are showing your true colors.

I would expect those that went to Miramas to drive prototypes got to see the real thing in a closed room?
Just like those who attended the annual meeting where the 1er was also shown in a closed room.

The renders are close but some of the rear detail is a bit too exaggerated. More subtle sportiness than dramatic sportiness. Some of the detail is correct and exact to elements within the finished product.

Having seen it for the first time it is definitely eye-catching and every much a premium product. The customers in this segment would be well rewarded in regards to something that is entirely new.
FWD is no longer the experiment at BMW. Active Tourer and X1 has shown that the company can have successful concepts outwith the comfort zone.

The rear there is looking like an small suv/crossover , exaggerated/busy at the low end
