So, now that it's over and done with...

Here's to hoping that the 2017 F1 season will be a bit more exciting than this years' has been. Max Verstappen has arguably been the revelation of the season. It will be interesting to see how (and if) new regulations will envigorate the series. As a fan of F1 for the past 4 1/2+ decades, I will be crossing my fingers for the best as I've seldom been as disinterested as I was this past season. I do not really want to defect to the FIA GT series.

I suppose it is similar to how Lewis won his 1st title when Massa won the race but Lewis won the title. Some will say if only Lewis's engine didn't blew up in Malaysia, but he also had some off races and made some mistake. And then we have that incident in Spain when Nico was leading.

You mean the Blancpain GT Series I presume Of course, there really is no need to just follow one series in motorsport, there are so many to choose from.

That was the plan all along, to ensure the German in the German team wins the WDC.

I do agree with that statement, however he needs to be reined in. The FIA needs to make the rules clear on driver pushing other drivers off the track when overtaking for which Max is public enemy number 1. He did it again to day and lost out and his response on the radio to his team was funny. He recovered very well in the but Vettel schooled him though at the end of the race.

Here's to hoping 2017 will be a hell of alot more exciting, cos F1 needs it to be.
