So lately there's been alot of discussion that the "Pajun" will be coming with electric only power and fuel cell power. How bout internal combustion? Any recent news on that front?

All we know is that it's coming in 2015!

Im not sure they green lighted it, if they did poor E class and 5er

Yep, such a car would have a huge potential in the segment, no doubt about it. But its competitors would be the CLS and the 6er GC. In the case of the former, my gut tells me the changes for the third gen are going to be huge (the car needs them).

A second coming of the 928? Yes please.
A Panamera Coupe and Cabrio would make perfect sense. Increase your profits with a cost effective product in which if we include Panamera L or Executive brings total Panamera models to five.
And VW Group need the money from the profits they would bring in.
VW Groups Diesel sales in the US have collapsed. Leaving them heavily exposed in regards of having no product to answer CAFE legislation.

Although the 911, unlike 20-30 years ago, can now be specced to be comfortable luxury car, there is room for a two door Panamera. Plush seats, proper boot and slightly higher seating position makes all the difference to some. As you said, the cost of bringing it to market are marginal.

Just me playing devil's advocate, could this possibly be testing the production Bentley Speed 6 since that and the next gen Panny are going to use the MSB platform?

No, the licenseplate is registered by Porsche and I have one official report with some information from this mule. Some people thinks that this is only one old mule from the new Continental GT testing by Porsche by any reason, but the report tells is from Porsche.

The problem with the people who thinks is the from the possible 928 GT is because they're seeing one mule that before has been used by Bentley for one Coupe and this is wrong. One car producer can use one mule with a body of sedan and, in the production model, to be a real sedan. Or no, one coupe too..

It's just that SCOTT27 is telling. I know that Porsche has planned one coupe based in Panamera, but not a Cabrio. At least, by now; in the future would be possible, but they have been doing a study from E-segment and they think that can go against 5-Series. Porsche doesn't consider, as competitor, the Audi A6 and E-Class.

In the other hand, some people thinks that little Panamera (Pajun) is the model based in Mission E Concept and I don't think that by a lot of reasons.

There is going to be a Tiguan/Q3 based compact SUV under the Macan. Which will of course be a licence to print money.

So is the mecan classed as a glc/ x3 rival?

As its Porche, it will probably use a RWD platform and not the A3 based one... It will have the traits of the previous X1
