C-Class W205 [Spyshots] 2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class (W205) Spy Photos

Wow, feels like it is coming early. Here are the first photos.

Wow didn't expect to have spyshots of the new C so soon. When is it expected to be released?

The proportions look great, though I did think we were going to get something more in line with the F800 concept. This is much more conventional.

Lol the A4 is substandard in my eyes. Frankly I don't get Europe's obsession with it one bit. If anything, it's to respond to the F30 asap.

Umm, that's a W204.

The roof and greenhous are identical to the 204.

No way it's gonna be that evolutionary if M-B is saying that the W205 will introduce a "radical shift in design direction/introduction of new design language", saying it'll be a copy look of the F800.

If this IS the W205, then I've lost all faith in M-B's design team, as it means that by "radical change" they mean scribble lines and 20 character lines on a similarly architectural car.

That said, I'd LOVE to see a subtle evolution of the W204 instead of some "radical change", but I'm pretty sure that this is a W204, possibly with W205 underpinnings (to disguise the design direction).

+1 Same here, the A4 IMO is miles away from both C class and 3er. On topic: Do I see bad... or there is a hint of concave "flame surfacing" evident on the sides? I hope not

the 204 was radical compared to the 203..
So its only normal that the 205 will be evolution rather than revolution..usually MB do 2 generations off a general design..

Look at bmw they have been evolutionary since the E46 to E90 and now new 3er..

I'm not saying that I want radical (other way around, actually), but M-B kept saying that this car would introduce drastic new styling language. I hope that doesn't mean new sh** lines scribbled all over the sides, because if this IS a W205, then the roof and architecture are very much BMW-esque evolutionary (from the W204) rather than revolutionary.

Lol. True that. They're late to the game and everyone else (including the starter of it all, BMW) seems to be cleaning up their messes again, and those two keep fighting to rekindle the "glory days"?

Relax, this is just a mule. Expect next summer or autumn to see the first spyshots of the real C class W205. Btw, I didn`t expect these photos so soon either.

It's clearly the W204 skin and body sitting atop some W205 stuff that they're testing.

E46 to E90 evolutionary? In what world? Or are you talking about the fact they both have a Hofmeister Kink, kidney grille and 4 wheels?

It's cheap to lease and VAG offers all kinds of deals of course.

I totally agree with Klier, E90 is obviously a revolution from the E46. The 3 series has clearly the strategy of 1 revolution and then 1 one evolution. It is somewhere on this froum a picture of the generations along time and you can see clearly this idea. E36-revolution E46- evolution E90- revolution and now F30 evolution. I like A4 but not as much as I love the C class or the new 3 series F30 which is now my favourite in his class.

Hmmm nope. This is no W204, proportions are different. It´s, once again, a mini S-Class. The rear door handle is lower than the front door handle. This means the dropping shoulder line you hate, K-A is here to stay, and will be on the W205 C-Class too. Not only that, the front end seems to forget any resemblance to the F800, and has bigger front lights, on the contrary of what it was expected for the new MBs (bigger grille, smaller frontlights). This mule has again bigger lights and smaller grille.

Not feeling it, guys. some mules already give you the vibe a car is gonna look fantastic. This mules, being it or not the W205, doesn´t look specially nice.
